A couple months ago, we reviewed a tasty fuzz pedal from St. Petersburg, Russia, called the Termofuzz, which was one of the most fun and diverse fuzzes I have had the pleasure to review. Well, the guys and gals behind that pedal are up to it agin, this time switching directions and offering up the Breaking Bad Delay Deluxe. With graphics and functions both nodding to a certain spectacular TV show, this delay is about as inventive,...

This pedal is a one off custom job from Trevor at TSW Pedals, and is one (well, 2) of my favorite drives combined into one pedal. This is definitely my coolest pedal as it has my signature image laser engraved right onto the front panel. He takes his Dragon Slayer, which is a take on “plexi in a box” and combines it with his Infinite Drive (similar to a tube screamer but with a smoother tone control and more gain on tap)...

Selah Effects out of Australia keeps putting out really, really good pedals; I recently reviewed the Scarlett Love V2, which was just awesome, and this time around, it’s the Feather Drive, which I can’t honestly see leaving my board anytime soon after playing it. I wasn’t sure what to think about the Joyo Ultimate Drive when I purchased it. I was new to Joyo and was wondering if a 40 dollar pedal would be a do or a don’t. My expectations were exceeded when I ran it through a telecaster into a Marshall. Amazing overdrive sounds and incredible transparency. At an extremely low gain setting, it’s a very Klon, Soul Food feel. As you turn up the gain, you get some of the best...

The Scarlett Love Overdrive (V2) from Selah Effects came to me all the way from Australia, and let me tell you, friends, it’s worth the wait. This is a big, thick, meaty pedal housed in a small enclosure, but will provide you and your guitar with all the gain and drive you can handle, and then push you a little bit further. Gain, Tone and Volume make up the control knobs on the Scarlett Love, and each has a considerable amount...

I bought this used at very low price… I didn’t expect much on the pedal. I just wanted a decent backup either for my CM plexitone or my amp dirty channel. This provides bluesy 70’s rock tone more than just “ok.” Considering its price, there is some great tones for players to get out of this box. Nice vintage style hard clipping. One thing I don’t like about the box is how the tone stack is shaped....
