Hotone Audio VerbToday’s guest review comes to us from Coe S. – find him on Instagram (@coeschneider) and say Hi!

As part of the Skyline Series by Hotone Audio, the Verb caught my attention for three reasons; price point, size, and a cool glowing knob.

This was my first reverb pedal, that being said, I had no reference point, and still don’t have much. I’ve watched a ton of demos though;)

The light up knob is super cool, and the reverb sounds this little guy makes are passable for my purposes so far, it hasn’t quite scratched my reverb itch though. I feel there is a lot more the world of reverberated sound has to offer me.

Turning this pedal on has always resulted in a very loud pop for me. So much so I built a bypass loop for it so I would get the popping when I turned it on.

It’s a space saver, it’s fairly cheap and it kinda looks cool, if those are selling points to you this may be a winner in your book.
