First off, the DelayLab is a BIG box, no bones about it. That said, it packs a heap of features and a million different settings to choose from, making it one of the funnest delays I’ve ever used. Simple digital readout in the top corner lets you know what bank you’re in, what the delay time is, amount of feedback being produced, etc., depending on how you turn the knobs. 3 footswitches allow for a multitude of banks (30, to be exact) that come pre-programmed, or you can make them all custom if you choose.

The DelayLab also boasts 30 DIFFERENT types of delay effects, some more vintage-sounding, some lean more towards modern delay vibes, and anything and everything in between. The Analog function is actually quite warm, the Reverse is always fun to play with, Modulation keeps it interesting, and the Digital is just a great-sounding delay. You can run it in Stereo to 2 amps, produce deep, lush tape echo sounds, and there’s even a Looper that can hold up to 28 seconds! This is all pretty impressive for one effects, and one that’s fairly easy to maneuver (once you get the hang of it).

Check the video below for a SMALL sample of what this delay can do. The DelayLab from VOX has almost everything you could want from a delay pedal, and while it will take up some space on your board, you might not need any other delays besides this one.
