Boost pedals have been appearing on pedalboards all over the place the last couple of years, but few look as awesome as the Strategy Boost from CopperSound Pedals. An op-amp based clean boost with simple controls and powerful sound, this is one boost that will get your audience talking, about both the pedal and the sound.
Just looking at this pedal will put a smile on your face. Even if you’re not the biggest Strat fan, you’ve got to be impressed by the attention to detail that goes into each hand-made and individually-designed Strategy Boost. Alex and the gang even managed to match my pedal with my own relic’d Strat, making it a perfect match for my collection.
With 2 controls, it’s not rocket science figuring this pedal out. The Volume knob obviously boots your signal, but when pushed can drive your amp into sweet break-up territory, giving a little tasty drive sound to your clean tone. Speaking of Tone, this knob will either beef up you low-end a bit, or get thin and quacky for some Strat-like funk sounds. Mix and match these two knobs, and prepare to vault your tone into new tonal territory.
