Caline DCP-03 Devilfish Chorus Delay

Our journey continues today as we wind our way through the DCP dual effect series of pedal from our friends at Caline. After starting with two powerful dirt pedals, we’re switching gears and bringing you some time-based modulation today. The Caline DCP-03 Devilfish Chorus Delay combines two of our favorite effects into one enclosure, bringing with it a sea of sonic exploratory adventures…

The Chorus side of the Devilfish is a warm, analog circuit that harkens back to the classic sounds of a certain baby blue pedal from the 80’s. The common Rate and Depth controls are present here, along with a Level parameter, for precise control of how much modulation you’d like in your signal path. The Delay side features Caline’s Blue Ocean Delay, a natural-sounding delay that lays back and lets your tone shine through. With Time, Echo and Feedback controls, this delay features a 25-600ms delay time range, perfect for any musical situation.

These two effects sound so good together, in any situation, so having them combined into one pedal is always welcome. The ocean-like tones produced by the DCP-03 Devilfish Chorus Delay will send you off into never-never land for hours, sparking creativity and losing yourself in your music, which is something we can all use right now. We’ve loved all of these DCP Series pedals from Caline so far, and we’ve got more on the way, so stay tuned. For now, though, head over to YouTube to hear this wonderful machine in action, and don’t forget to visit the Caline website for more info on this and all of their vast effects pedal lineup!
