Interchange Noise Works Element 119 Distortion

A good distortion pedal is pretty hard to beat, but one that reinvents itself and puts a unique spin on the entire genre? Sign us up! Today’s pedal, the Element 119 Distortion from Interchange Noise Works, does exactly that, as it creates a new kind of clipping to form a truly unique dirt pedal. From light overdrive to doom-y fuzz, this one’s got it all…

Let’s get right to the meat and potatoes of this one, and the term is “Asymmetric Pyramid Clipping.” This new form of clipping was discovered during the creation of Element 119, making this pedal a distortion at heart, but one that carries many characteristics of a gated fuzz. Use the Decay knob to sweep the clipping circuit, Bass and Treble to adjust your EQ and Exposure, which sets your overall output level.

There’s not a ton more to say here, so we’ll let our demo do the talking, and you can decide if the Element 119 Distortion is a great pedal or a fantastic one – the choice, of course, is yours. We’re excited by this first pedal from Interchange Noise Works, and they were kind enough to send over a second one for us to check out, so keep your eyes peeled for that in the near future. For now, enjoy and marvel in this pyramid scheme of sonic bliss, and melt some faces while you’re at it.
