Custom, limited edition pedals have become a staple across the board the last couple of years, and we were able to get our mitts on another rare one today. The Seraphina Fuzz Octave is a collaboration between Red Witch Pedals and Reverb, featuring a wide range of fuzzy options in a simple control package. Unlike any fuzz Red Witch has created before, this one takes it to the next level.
Featuring just three top-mounted controls, the Seraphina isn’t set up like most traditional pedals. The Fuzz, Tone and Volume controls are fairly standard, with the fuzz range going from a classic, vintage feel to a leviathanic wall of fuzz, and a huge range in between. Internally, this hand made beauty boasts 4 germanium diodes, through hole components and Wima capacitors. Engaging the incendiary Octave Up via the 2nd footswitch, and your sound really opens up – you can even dial in the exact amount of octave up flavor you want via an internal trimpot.
The Tone control has a nice spectrum here as well, taking you from laser beam-like tones to bass-heavy low-end sludge, completely altering what you create throughout the full turn of the dial. Limited to only 100 units produced, the Seraphina Fuzz Octave is already a scarce pedal, so if you run across one, we highly recommend picking it up.
