Before the Moonshine was released, JHS Pedals produced this beauty, and although the Low Drive (V2) is designed for bass, this overdrive conquers on guitar as well. From pure “mojo” tone to a nice Tubecreamer-esque overdrive. Nice and bluesy and totally worth it.
The Low Drive pedal has a tone, volume, gain control. A toggle switch for different clippings (middle toggle was da bomb). Also, this pedal can be run at different voltages other than 9 and it adds a lot of options on how you’ll sound. Unfortunately, the Low Drive was discontinued in Fall 2013, and replaced with the Moonshine, which is a great drive as well!
