I wanted something similar to the Marshall Shredmaster, but its not in production anymore and the vintage models go for lots of cash. I asked Pepers if they could make me something like that, and he totally obliged, I’d spent heaps trying to find other pedals that recreated that same sound and I should have come to Tony first as what he has produced is amazing, and all my colleagues can’t believe I have got such a great pedal for such an awesome price.

What made my experience special? Well, he knew I was a designer, so he supplied me with his templates and I created my own design, he had some cool input into it though, and so shaped this pedal into something that is truly unique to me and the sound I wanted to create. Lots of my guitar friends have complimented the sound it has when I use it, it’s big and grunty just how I wanted it, just like that sound on Creep (yeah, I know, what a stereotype). But I love it – I will definitely have a custom pedal done by Pepers’ again as the whole experience was like getting everything you want on Christmas Day, like when you were a kid.
