Rockready OC-1 Octave

We’re continuing out look at the Rockready lineup of pedals today, with another mini effect that produces BIG sounds. The OC-1 Octaver gives you three different octave modes to use, which you can blend together at will, creating unique and intriguing sounds with ease. Plug it in, twist some knobs, and you’ve got some wicked good tones at your fingertips in mere seconds…

The Octave OC-1, produces 3 octaves AND blends in your dry signal to taste. The -1 Octave knob produces a sound one octave lower than the note you are playing, while -2 Octave is 2 octaves lower, and +1 Octave is an octave higher. By blending in your Dry signal and mixing the different octaves, it is possible to produce many tones, from classic octaver to synth to modern driven bass tones. The range of each knob is extremely useful, too, giving you the ability to add just a hint of whatever you need here and there, for a sound you can make all your own.

We used a guitar for the demo video below, but the OC-1 Octaver sounds great on bass as well – don’t be afraid to experiment with this one! The affordable pedals from Rockready have been a wonderful surprise, exceeding any sonic expectations for effects that cost under 50 bucks each.
