Animals Pedal In Oct,3 Foxes Talking of Dreamy Fuzz 1

We recently had a pedal from our old friends at Animals Pedal come through the shop, and when they sent the Push & Pull Distortion over, they also send a couple others, which we continue to check out today. They have always been known for the eclectic and long names for their pedals, and the In Oct,3 Foxes Talking of Dreamy Fuzz keeps that train a-rollin’.

Reed-like attack with a roar from a mixture of sounds, the Foxes Talking of Dreamy Fuzz brings glory and grit and has a unique place among many fuzz pedals. The Octave-up style fuzz became a hit attraction in the late 60s with certain legendary guitarists and evolved more in the 70s with the “velvet” style octave fuzzes born on the West Coast USA. The Foxes Talking of Dreamy Fuzz was born based on that intense and unique sounding design.

You can make some wild shrieking sounds that is unique to this style of fuzz, as well as have access to a great standard fuzz sound that is organic and authentic. Not only can you get drunk with the former psychedelic tone, but you can also have the freedom to incorporate it into modern music and create new sounds. The standard fuzz tone (with octave switch set to “OFF”) is a flavor of 70s silicon-based fuzz that is immediately memorable. When you turn on the octave, the pedal overflows with madness – especially when you select the front pickup and play single note lines above the tenth fret with the tone rolled off – a cry with intense octave will flow from your fingers.

The In Oct,3 Foxes Talking of Dreamy Fuzz has an overall sense of stability with the textures of the classic fuzzes, and it is a pedal that can be stepped on confidently by any guitarist who seeks new fields of tone. Between this and the Push & Pull Distortion, your dirt and heavy tones are just about covered! Thanks to Animals Pedal for sending this gorgeous effect our way – be sure to visit their website, check out our demo below AND stay tuned for more great pedals from these guys coming your way SOON!!
