Anode Effects MOS Fuzz Full Frequency Fuzz Machine

There are a lot of multi-knob, multi-button, multi-menu effects units out in the world, and they are all pretty rad, but sometimes a good 2-knob pedal can be the perfect amount of pseudo-complication. The Anode Effects MOS Fuzz Full Frequency Fuzz Machine brings two simple knobs into the fold, while producing a HUGE range of sounds coming from a seemingly comic book-inspired enclosure. We always love checking out new pedals from new (to us, anyway) pedal companies, and this fuzz starts things off perfectly…

The MOS Fuzz is a unique circuit that is an expansion of the Bazz Fuss circuit, but it uses MOSFETs to create a more smooth and less gritty fuzz. It has a lot more bass than a traditional fuzz and has insane cleanup with your guitar’s volume knob. The Volume knob here controls the volume of the pedal, while the Fuzz knob controls the amount of fuzz available – as the knob is turned down, the tone will add a bit more bass and have a more muddy tone on the lower strings. Depending on the output of your pickups, the fuzz will turn into a more velcro like fuzz as the knob is turned down.

All NOS components were used on the PCB (carbon comp resistors, Philips and Sprague capacitors), and it also features a Gorva soft click footswitch, along with Lumberg DC and audio jacks. A solid build indeed, it also sounds fantastic, and will find a place in any pedal setup that needs a little oomph added to it.
