Artisanal Effects Dual Phase Jr. Double Phaser

A couple of months ago, I checked out our first pedal from Artisanal Effects, the Toneshaper Drive EQ, and was quite impressed. When Warren told me recently he had a couple other pedals to send my way, I was naturally stoked, and the frist one we’re gonna check out is the Dual Phase Jr. This is a slimmed-down version of AE’s Double Phaser, but there’s no tonal or functional loss with this amazing unit. Let’s head back in time with some vintage modulation, shall we?

The Artisanal Effects Dual Phase Jr. is a hand assembled, faithful reproduction of the famous Lovetone® Doppelgänger® phaser. Artisanal Effects have taken out the shrink ray and managed to pack all the famous swirly, creamy, deep double phasing sounds of the original (and their Double Phaser clone) in a much smaller package, only 4.7″L x 3.7″W. You lose nothing here, all the jacks, switches and knobs of the original are here. Compared to the AE original Double Phaser, this one is built with small surface mount components and an optimized circuit board layout to make this as small as possible to fit onto any pedalboard.

Warren at Artisanal Effects believes the original was the OG of phasers – now you can have it for the modern age, without paying vintage prices. This is a snob ratified, amazing sounding pedal that is 100% analog. AE specializes in boutique reproductions of really unique classic effects that are long out of production and/or pedals that are completely out of reach of most people due to ridiculous prices on the vintage market, and I am absolutely here for it.
