Heather Brown Electronicals Spirit In The Sky Tremolo Fuzz

If you haven’t heard about the fantastic gear coming from Heather Brown Electronicals, you must have been living under a musical rock. The Blessed Mother Overdrive burst on the scene a couple years ago, and was followed by the also-successful Sensation Fuzzdrive – two awesome circuits from an awesome builder. Today, we’ve got the latest effect in this lineup, the Spirit In The Sky Tremolo Fuzz, which mixes 2 wonderful effects into a single, customizable enclosure…

The Tremolo side features Rate (Speed) and Depth (Intensity) controls, along with a Shape knob that moves from a soft Sine wave to a harsher, more intense Square wave. The Fuzz side has simple Tone and Sustain (Distortion) controls, but the real treat here is the Blend knob. With this, you can dial in the amount of fuzz or clean signal you want, for varying and exciting degrees of both. The Flow toggle lets you choose if you want the Tremolo to be applied to the Clean or the Fuzz signal, enhancing this sonic experience even more. Use Clean Boost to add in a little gain, and there’s a Master Volume knob that sets the overall output as well.

Some combos Heather suggests inside the Spirit In The Sky box have names like Subtle Weird, Ambient Pulse and Lighter Fluid, to name a few, and they all fit perfectly with this pedal. Providing all sorts of dynamic wobbles, pulsing chops and gorgeous ambient textures, this most excellent creation is an excellent addition to the Heather Brown Electronicals lineup.
