Thermion Outlaw Boosted Delay

“Boosted” and “Delay” are not words you hear consecutively in the effects pedal world very often, but today’s gem shows us all why we should hear them more. Continuing with a long streak of unique, individualistic effects, our friends at Thermion have come up with the Outlaw Boosted Delay, a portable, analog-sounding, robust and versatile delay with an integrated volume booster, able to push your tone to the next level. This is a fun one (as if the lone red knob didn’t tip you off), so let’s jump right in…

Packed with three different repetition characters and a tails mode, Outlaw allows a perfect integration in your setup thanks to its external switching capability. Simply, connect it through the effects loop of your amp or before the reverb effects in your signal chain and use it as a solo mode. Time (up to 500ms), Feedback and Mix comprise your delay controls, along with a toggle switch to select from Normal, Bright and Dark delay modes. You can choose to have the delay tails stop (true bypass) or continue (buffered bypass) when the effect is off, and the Boost knob pushes the output level right into the sweetest of spots.

The Outlaw Boosted Delay gives you the volume boost and the ambience you need to create the most detailed and mix-cutting soloing tones, as well as creating complex ambient atmospheres, all in a simple and portable enclosure. There’s even an external switch jack input for remote controlling, making sure if slides seamlessly into any musical setup or situation.
