Mozztronics TD-2 HV Tube Driver

Using a real 12AX7 tube internally, the TD-2 HV Tube Driver provides authentic, crunchy tube amp tone, with an easy control section for instant overdriven glory. Three knobs doesn’t give you the whole story, so let’s go for a ride and see what this orange beauty is all about…

The TD-2 HV Tube Driver features NO diode clipping – just compression and overdrive, giving you more bang for your buck. The tube itself is used in the Gain stages, not the Tone section, so the overdrive you hear is tube drive, tube drive, and nothing but tube drive. It responds like an amplifier would, and fluctuates perfectly with every turn of your guitar’s Volume knob.

The 3 Volume, Tone and Gain knobs are standard fair, and boast a wide range of sounds to discover. A medium-high gain drive, the TD-2 goes from edge of breakup to heavy crunch and beyond with ease. Powered by a 15-16VAC supply, the circuits used to generate the high voltage are the same that were used in old time television sets, for a truly vintage-sounding effect.

Push the TD-2 HV Tube Driver into a nice and loud amp, and you can hear the girth and grit being extended, all while adding gorgeous sparkle to your tone.
