The EL34 EQ Boost helps emulate the tone and harmonics of an EL34 output stage, without the need to swap valves in your amp. Simply plug and play to hear what your amplifier would sound like if it actually had EL34s. If you’ve already got an EL34 amp, you can use it as an extra voicing and boost to really push your amp into harmonically-rich overdrive. The Volume and Tone knobs set your basic sound, with the Boost footswitch activating the Gain control, to really push this pedal and any amplifier into the sweet spot of tonal bliss.
Built with true point-to-point construction using the same components as Rift Amplification’s amps, and hardware that includes SWITCHCRAFT/NEUTRIK sockets and GORVA foot-switches, the EL34 EQ Boost is built right and built to last. The emulation of these tubes is fantastic, creating a new sound with every different amp it meets, and pushing an already EL34-laden amp to the brink of sonic glory.
