Revv Amplification G4 High Gain Distortion

The G-Series of pedals gets progressively heavier and dirtier as they evolve – starting with the G2 Overdrive, then the G3 Overdrive Distortion, we conclude today with the G4 High Gain Distortion. This red monster brings with it a new level of thick, sustained amplifier tone to compliment the other G-Series pedals, or any pedals you might have on your board. Let’s dig into this one and see what it’s all about…

Based on the Red Channel from Revv‘s Generator 120 and 100R Amps, the G4 High Gain Distortion brings true amp-in-a-box voicing to the table. Consisting of Volume and Gain controls, plus a three-band Bass, Middle and Treble EQ section, the tonal possibilities are endless…BUT WAIT!! A three-way toggle switch also gives you 3 different aggression modes to shape the voice and saturation of your tone. Off provides a lower gain option, while the Blue mode gives you a tight, defined sound. The Red mode rounds things out by beefing up the distortion to be nice, thick and saturated.

Used by premier recording and touring artists worldwide, the G4 High Gain Distortion brings authentic amp tone right to your pedalboard. Whether you’re using it in a live setting with a clean or dirty amp, with a cab sim or in the studio, the G4 is right at home in any scenario.
