The Fiddy for an Ounce Fuzz is a 2-stage silicon fuzz, with each stage delivering as much gain as the transistors can provide. This one gets LOUD and DIRTY, as it should. There’s a hard-set noise gate inside as well, which stomps out the noise floor, while still allowing plenty of sustain. A 2-stage RF/radio interference filter ensures no radio stations will play through your amp, and this fuzz also has super aggressive power supply noise filtering as well.
As far as sound and playability, you hook it up, find what setting works for your rig, and you’re done. Powerful, destructive and threatening, the Fiddy for an Ounce Fuzz is everything a killer one-knob fuzz should be.
