Well, it’s the end of another week, and (surprise surprise) we’ve got another installment of Flamma Fridays for you!! Today’s mini rocker from Flamma Innovation is the FC06 Distortion, a pedal that’s small in size but looms large over your tone. Simple controls, easy to fit anywhere, great tones and an incredible price point – let’s see what this one’s all about…
As with many distortions, the FC06 Distortion features Volume, Tone and Drive parameters, which work together to form the base drive sound here. There are two different modes of distortion available here as well: HP (High Peak) boosts the low end and the ability to boost the high-mid range tones by increasing the amount of drive using the Drive knob. LP (Low Peak) adds in just a bit of color and boost to your clean tone, without washing it away in too much distortion. These two modes, along with the usual control knobs, provide a wide array of distorted options for your setup (it also pairs up nicely with last week’s FC07 Overdrive pedal).
With true bypass circuitry and a size that you can fit in your pocket, the Flamma FC06 Distortion can be the perfect addition to any pedalboard.
