Today, we’re continuing our look at the Dual Series pedals from Caline, and we’ve got another gem for you. The DCP-05 Key West Compressor Overdrive gives you one of the best pedal combinations to ever exist. With each side running either independently or in tandem, there are a ton of tones waiting to be explored here…
The Compressor side is Caline’s Pressure Tank pedal, which is inspired by the famous Diamond Compressor. Simple Volume, EQ and Comp controls allow you to get as little or as much squish as you need on your signal. The Overdrive side is based on the Zen Drive – along with Volume, Tone and Gain knobs, there’s a Voice control, which adds in either a vintage or modern-sounding sparkle to your dirt.
In our demo below, we run through each side on its own, to showcase what they can individually do, as well as play around with some of our favorite settings when they’re on simultaneously. A great space-saving start to any pedalboard, the Caline DCP-05 Key West Compressor Overdrive brings tight punch and some earthy grit to any rig.
