Danelectro owner Steve Ridinger created the FOXX pedal line in the 1970’s. He priced the FOXX Tone Machine at $49; today the originals sell for $600+. The 3699 fUZZ Octaver brings back this original circuit with some important tweaks. The octave is way more pronounced (and foot switchable), the tone is warmer, and there is a “mids boost” toggle that counteracts the mid cut of the original pedal. Velvet tone for sure!
We love the power of this fuzz, and the addition of the octave into it takes the tone to an entirely new level. Vintage and modern at the same time, the 3699 fUZZ Octaver sounds just incredible, blistering amps and eardrums at every turn.
