Our first dive into the effects pedal pool over at Siren Pedals was a couple months back, with their incredible Midnight Train Fuzz. Since then, we’ve been itching to see what else they’ve got in their lineup, and that day is upon us at last. Introducing the Siren Pedals Eligos Heavy Metal Distortion, a simple but extremely potent dirt pedal that seeks to unleash hell on amps and eardrums everywhere. Nothing neat or nice about this one, let’s crank it up and blow it out!
Based on the classic Boss HM-2, the Eligos Heavy Metal Distortion lets you channel your own dark forces and create soaring leads. The Volume, Distortion, Bass and Treble control knobs give you an easy-to-use sonic palette to work with, as there are many subtle nuances found within this basic framework. The distortion, while powerful, is smooth, giving you a ton of punch without sacrificing any clarity.
The Eligos is also true bypass, keeping your original tone clean and clear, and features top-mounted jacks for easy insertion onto any pedalboard. The stunning graphics continue here where the Midnight Train left off, and the rest of their lineup is just as visually pleasing, too.
