Fulltone Supa-Trem2 ST-2 Stereo Tremolo Auto-Panner

Here at Pedal of the Day, we’ve had the pleasure to be able to review and demo numerous pedals from Fulltone over the years. Ranging from the classic OCD Drive to the incredible Tube Tape Echo, Choralflange a couple of Deja Vibes and more, the sound quality and craftsmanship have always been right up their at the top. That said, today’s pedal of theirs might be our favorite one yet. The Fulltone Supa-Trem2 Stereo Tremolo / Auto Panner is a monster stereo modulation pedal, one that presses all the right sonic buttons…

The Supa-Trem2 uses 2 separate, identical circuits with their own separate inputs and outputs to achieve its TRUE stereo sound. It also features N.O S. Fairchild 2N5484 JFETs on each input, an enhanced-bypass, due to the high-quality JFET buffered outputs and it works great at the end of any signal chain. The dual outputs make sure that your signal is being properly delivered to both amps in a stereo setup, creating massive waves of modulated tone.

As far as sonic features go, there are plenty here as well. First off, the Tap Tempo has the largest range I think we’ve ever seen in a tremolo pedal, going from taking a whopping SIX SECONDS of panning between the outputs up to super-fast speeds in excess of 200bpm. The Phase Correlation knob is probably our favorite feature on the Supa-Trem2, as it adds in hints of “naturally occurring” Harmonic Phase-shift as your guitar pans between the amps. You can throw the outputs ANY degree IN or OUT of Phase with each other, creating a wide area of sounds to experiment with and discover. The Volume knob features +15dB of boost if you need it, and a 3-way Waveform switch gives you Sine, Square and Warble modes to choose from.

You can even access the Half-Speed/Double-Speed functionality, simply by holding down on the Tap Tempo switch for 3/4 of a second. Since this is a TRUE stereo pedal, you’re gonna need to listen to our demo video below on some headphones, good ones if possible, to experience the whole spectrum of sounds it can deliver. The Fulltone Supa-Trem2 Stereo Tremolo / Auto-Panner is most definitely NOT your ordinary, average, run-of-the-mill trem/vibe pedal, and we’re so so happy it’s not. Hear it in action below, and please be sure to subscribe to us on YouTube, cheers!
