As with all Classic Audio pedals, your eye instantly floats right to the roller in the middle. Here, it acts as a Mix control, letting you control the amount of the effect present in your signal, hands-free. The Cliffside itself produces +1 and -1 octave tones, with each one having its own mini knob. These three simple controls allow you to really delve into the wondrous world of octave exploration, opening up a huge variety of sounds to suit any musical environment.
Now, while Classic Audio Effects are no longer in business, their pedals are still available online, and can be hunted down for good prices on the used market. The Cliffside stands on its own as a unique and creative octave pedal, along the exact same lines as the rest of the CAE lineup, and will easily add a new dimension of sound to your rig.
