Star Wars. Han Solo. Taun-Tauns. The Klon. Normally, only three of these things have something in common, but the guys at IdiotBox Effects decided enough was enough. Combining some catchy graphics with even catchier tones, the Han-Taun Boost Overdrive smashed these fantastic things together to form a magnificent klone pedal, one that was apparently created in a galaxy far, far away….
The Han-Taun is set up just like the famous mythical beast pedal, with Gain, Treble and Output controls. Keeping a close eye on the original and the subsequent reissues, the circuitry and sound is damn close to the real thing, but with a little bit more beef and a tighter high end on tap. This Han Solo-inspired beauty sounds good at any setting, ranging from a gorgeous clean boost to an amp-driving overdrive powerhouse, with a wide range of tasty settings in between.
