Floating Forest Pedals Dream Eater FuzzOne knob pedals can be super-fun, space-saving and powerful, and today’s featured pedal is all of those things and more. The Dream Eater Fuzz, aside from having a horrifically awesome name, boasts a simple layout with a unique fuzz sound and style all its own. Here we go…

The lone control knob here is a Gain knob, and features a broad range of sonic possibilities waiting to jump out and surprise you. One awesome feature is how quiet this pedal is with your hands off of the strings. Many fuzz pedals give off a ton of feedback, but the Dream Eater has a low noise floor, even with single coil pickups. With the lone control all the way rolled off, you’ll get a creamy, almost synth-y sound, while all the way maxed will give a wall of fuzz that will cut through any mix. The Dream Eater has been designed to play nice with both guitar and bass, too, thus expounding on its versatility, and sounds very clear with its note definition on chord use even when maxed out.

Floating Forest Pedals LogoEvery Floating Forest pedal is point to point wired on perfboard, using Switchcraft jacks, alpha pots and are true bypass. Painting is done in-house as well, usually with enamel paints that are super durable, with all the etching done by hand, too. They do relatively limited releases of the pedals, only about 10 pedals are made per month at the moment, and each one is signed and numbered before shipping out. Thanks to Tony for sending this little monster our way – we’re excited to see what the future holds for Floating Forest Pedals, and the Dream Eater is a huge step in the right direction.
