Titan. The largest moon of the planet Saturn OR one of the coolest delays we here at Pedal of the Day have ever come across? Well, you’re both right, congrats! Red Witch Pedals have always been able to create very articulate and impressive pedals, and the Titan Triple Delay is no exception. Featuring THREE independent delays, you can just imagine where this pedal will take you…to the moon and back (pun most definitely intended).

The funnest thing about this powerful delay machine is that you can mix in as much or as little of each of the three delay sections as you want, basically opening up endless sonic possibilities with general ease and comfort. With the Delay Time controls maxing out at 800ms, there’s more than enough time available to get some out-of-this-world echoes. Plus, when you dial these knobs back, you venture into pseudo-reverb territory, and can get real ambient when mixing the three delays together.

The other two controls for each delay section are Feedback and Mix, which might be the most important knob of all. Feedback allows for the adjustment of the repeated delay signal, from short to wicked self-oscillation, a super unpredictable feature, one that you’re sure to love. The Mix control for each section is where you can really get creative, by setting differing delay times for each part, then mixing them together to form a delay stew the likes of which you might not have been privy to before.

There’s a toggle switch on the Titan as well, allowing you to select between parallel or series modes, which alters the order that the delays are presented in, which again adds to the controlled chaotic confusion that is this beastly delay. As if all this weren’t enough, there’s an Effects Loop as well, for you to run any other effect you want through the delay, further proving this to be one of the funnest and most creative delays around.

I love out of the ordinary pedals, and the Titan Triple Delay most certainly fits that bill. This thing will really send your guitar tone into orbit (hehe), and the sonic achievements made by the Titan are truly out of this world (I just can’t resist). Not the only interesting pedal in the Red Witch lineup, by any means, either, so get on over to their website and check out their gear. Now! Do it!
