jhs pedals twin twelve overdriveThe JHS Twin Twelve is based off of the legendary Silvertone 1484 amps in the 60’s. This is the first ever all analog pedal to replicate the pre-amp and overdriven tones of the Silvertone 1484. To help achieve the weight and power of the original design, the circuit internally converts your standard 9V DC Negative power up to 18 volts. This conversion gives you more punch, a better dynamic range, and overall a true amp like feel.

It has four simple knobs: volume, gain, bass, and treble. Compared to the original 1484 amp that had only volume, bass, and treble. The volume knob acts as a master volume that the amp never had. The added drive knob acts like the volume knob of the amp. These two interact with each other giving you the classic overdriven tones of the 1484 without blowing windows out. The bass and treble knobs of the pedal are almost exact replications of the amps controls with added tweaks to give a better response and overall more versatile.

The Twin Twelve can act as a clean preamp boost or go to edging fuzz tones and everything in-between. This could very well be the most versatile and amp like overdrive pedal today.
