Mark Tremonti is well-known for his work with ’90s superstars Creed, especially his use of the wah. Getting together with Morley allowed Mark to design a wah built to his specifics, and here it is.
The Mark Tremonti Wah (Model Mark 1) is extremely easy to use – you just step on it and go. One of the few wahs without a clickable on/off switch, the Tremonti Wah automatically shuts itself off when you take your foot off the pedal. Can’t get much easier than that, really, or much more convenient. In the middle of a ripping solo, the last thing you want to worry about is whether your pedal is actually on or not, and with this wah, there’s never a question. But, even though that may be the case, they still threw in an LED just to make sure. There’s only one control knob, too – Wah Boost. This adds a bit of punch to your signal once the wah is engaged, up to +20dB! Very useful when you need your guitar’s signal to cut through the mix, particularly during a ripping solo, and this is just the thing to do it. A lot of players use their wah to add a bit of mojo to their solos, and this one will cut through just about anything. The overall tone packs a good deal of treble, but was also thick and cutting at the same time, without the usual whiny, nasal sound a lot of wahs tend to produce. It is quite useful in most applications, and works great for harder, more metal-sounding riffs.
All-in-all, this wah is easy to use, and the fact that it can pump out 20dB of boost as well makes it that much more useable, especially in a live setting. Built like a tank, too, can’t see this thing letting you down in the durability department! Plus, I’m really digging the diamond plate style footpad – it feels like you can really dig into this pedal and not worry about losing grip or causing any damage to it one bit. Special thanks go out to Bill W. and everyone over at Morley for their generous donation – make sure you go to their website and check out all they have to offer!

I have used this wah for years, it has stood the test of time. I also like how it does not have the real high frequencies when in the toe down position.
