I’ve gone through a ton of Fuzz, Overdrive and Distortion pedals looking for THAT sound. Most Fuzz pedals are just too noisy, static sounding. The OD’s and Distortions only sound good to me on one setting. Not a lot of useful variations. Find a sound I like and nail it down. Not much variety. Until I saw the Velvet Fuzz by Wampler.
I could tell by the videos on line that this was not going to be a one trick pedal. I think every time I sit down to play, I find a new tone I like. I have even resorted to writing down the settings for future use. It’s built beautifully, right here in the USA and just does everything you could want. Fuzz, Overdrive and Distortion in one slick little black box. From Creamy to Brown to full on grind. I love this thing.
