The Jurassic Fuzz Deluxe is a hand built and hand painted tiny silicon transistor fuzz pedal. This is a vintage style fuzz pedal that uses a pair of high gain BC109 Transistors. It is much smoother and has longer sustain that its one knob little brother. You just use your volume knob to go from clean to full on saturated fuzz. It is a beautiful little enclosure as well, with point-to-point hand wiring and is hand-painted as well.

I’m just in love with this little guy, what more can I say? Simple to dial in slight drive to really, really heavy fuzz, just mess with the 2 knobs for a minute or two and you’ve got a killer tone. Plus, I love that it takes up roughly ZERO real estate on my board – how does that much sound come out of such a small device? Well, we’ll never know, unless we took it apart and knew about electronics and… forget it, it just sounds awesome. PERIOD.

Not sure if they’re still gonna make these guys, glad I got one when I did. Keep your eyes peeled, ’cause this is a GREAT pedal for an EVEN BETTER price, and it can definitely hold its own (and more) with any of the big dogs out on the market. Cheers once again to everyone over at Happy Valley Analog for letting me test this monster at a great discount, looking forward to seeing what’s next!
